God really blessed us this year by growing our ministry in numbers. However, with the band, the vocal team, the creative team, the two different dance teams, the adult leaders and the student officers... I think some of us almost feel as if we are simply coexisting. We are in a ministry that should be more than just a production. We should be a family. How are we supposed to support others in their walks with Christ if we don't start with each other? And then there is always the problem of being too busy to stay in touch... THATS THE BEAUTY OF A BLOG! How many of you spend countless hours on Myspace and Facebook? That's right, I'm talking to you. How about spending 5 of those minutes looking at our blog and interacting with other D2L members?
Do you think Jesus knew we would be taking his words in Matthew 18:19-20 to the internet? (19"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. 20For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.") Pretty cool, huh?
We can post prayer-requests here, we can post praises.
We can put up important announcements about the group, as well as talk about absolutely nothing.
We are taking Christian fellowship to the web my friends. So, blog away. And may I inspire you with this: "Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another- and all the more as you see the Day approaching." -Hebrews 10:25
